TUESDAY. 14TH MARCH – 5.5miles
We will travel a bit further afield for this walk to Halton Gill in Littondale.
meet in the Rugby Club car park at 10am to share cars for a 40 minute journey. I suggest £1.50. to the driver.
We walk by the River Skirfare to Foxup. Then up and over moorland , followed by a downward stretch to Nether Hesleden and along the dale to Halton Gill.
Fabulous views throughout the day.

TUESDAY 28TH MARCH – 3miles approx.
A short walk from Clapham to Austwick over fields with wall stiles and back by road or track.
Maybe a drink in Austwick or Clapham.
the walk leaders, Clive and John, live in Clapham and will meet walkers at the entrance to the car park in Clapham at about 10am. Other walks meet in the Rugby Club car park at 9.30am, NB 9.30am to share cars to Clapham.

Walk 2nd March 2023 Arncliffe Kellewell circular
Our proposal is to drive to Arncliffe church in shared cars from the rugby club meet at 9.30 then walk from Arncliffe to Kettlewell circular , its about 7.5 miles, some steep climbs at the beginning.
Tuesday 28th February – 4/4.5 miles
As last month we will meet in the Rugby Club car park at 10.10am to walk to the bus stop in the square to catch the 10.30 am bus to Long Preston. This time the walk is past the station along the road to join the Ribble way and follow it back over fields to Settle. Although it is fairly level there will probably be stiles.
Bring lunch/ refreshments.

Walk details 16th Feb 2023
Meet at the Rugby Club at 9.30 to share transport.
I will be at Airton river bridge from 9.45 am. There should be enough space to park there.
We will walk over the fields to Kirkby Malham, up through Hanlith and over Hanlith moor to The Weets, a gentle climb of 414 metres.
Down to Gordale bridge and Janet’s Foss.
Back along the river bank to Airton.
The distance is @ 9 miles and there are about 8 Stiles.
Tuesday 14th February- 3 miles easy
Meet at.10am in the Rugby Club car park. We will take a short drive to the other side of the bypass to park in a lay-by. First there is a stretch of road walking to Lawkland Green, then a track to Four Lane Ends and another track to the road at Craven Ridge.
Bring refreshments/ lunch.

Walk 2nd Feb Thieves Moss
My walk for Feb 2 is up to Thieves Moss up in Crummack Dale. It will be about 8 miles as we will go via Thwaite Lane to Clapham and then a steady climb to Thieves Moss. Return through limestone pavement and down the single ladder stile back to Austwick.
If people could meet at Rugby club at 09:30 to organise transport, I’ll meet them at the bridge in Austwick at 09:45.
