Open mic nights – Starting September 12th (and the second Thursday of every month)
At The Craven Heifer, Stainforth – performers sign-in from 7:30, music starts 8:00pm
Here’s a great opportunity for musicians and performers of all shapes and sizes.
If you are a musician, singer, poet, comedian or any other performing artist, this is your chance to try out your talents to a friendly, supportive audience. There are lots of us who can play, sing or whatever in the safety of our own houses – but the opportunity to perform to an audience will take you to another level!
We have teamed up with Ryan and Taylor, the new tenants at the Craven Heifer, who are keen to present a “Best of British” experience for food, drink, music and hospitality at their traditional village pub.
Hosted by U3A members Ken & Audrey Larkins, the open mic nights will be a great night out, so even if you don’t perform, come along for some live entertainment. Of course, if you do wish to perform, bring along friends and family to support you.
If you want to sing but don’t play an accompanying instrument, how about using a backing track or be accompanied by a guitarist? Let me know in advance and we can work something out.
