Geology field trip
Viewing Bowland sandstone/shale outcrop and Pendleside limestone half a mile north of Little Newton Farm near Long Preston. Meet at Settle Rugby Club car park from 13.35 with a view to departing by 13.45 to Long Preston green. 3-3.5 mile total walking with glacial features to see on the way.
