Birdwatching Group visit to RSPB St Aidan’s and YWT Water Haigh

For our last meeting of the 2024-25 season we’re off to two of the most splendid reserves in Yorkshire: the RSPB reserve at St Aidan’s and the Wildlife Trust at Water Haigh. These two wetland sites are a magnet for birds with a host of resident species and summer visitors, and an impressive list of special birds such as Black-necked Grebe, Bittern and Willow Tit.
