Old Buildings Group visit to Stott Park Bobbin Mill

An out of hours guided tour of the last surviving working Bobbin Mill in the Lake District, once one of many supplying the bobbins on which the great textile mills of the north west of England depended. The tour includes an opportunity to see the mill machinery in action and experience the working conditions of the many local people once employed in the mills.
