Birdwatching Group visit to Swinsty Reservoir

Swinsty Reservoir provides a mix of habitats for birds including grassland, coniferous and mixed woodland and, of course, open water. These provide a home for a wide range of birds including Green Woodpecker, Song Thrush, Curlew, Lapwing, Meadow Pipit, Common Sandpiper, Tufted Duck, and Snipe to name just a few.
