Birdwatching Group visit to Hest Bank, Morecambe

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside! And what a splendid place to be if what you want to see is lots and lots of birds! The saltmarshes and mudflats of Morecambe Bay are home throughout the autumn and winter to thousands of ducks, geese and wading birds.  At high tide huge flocks of waders provide spectacular displays as they settle down to wait for the tide to turn.
