Birdwatching Group visit to Glasson Dock

With so many different habitats and so many varieties of birds to see Glasson Dock has become a favourite site for the Birdwatching Group. Depending on the tide we’ll begin our visit looking out over the sea wall at the vast mudflats of the Lune Estuary before making our way down the Lancaster Canal to scan the fields for geese and waders. Then, after checking out the birds on Conder Pool, we’ll cross the road to explore the creeks and gullies around Conder Green.
