Birdwatching Group visit to Burnsall and the River Wharfe

From the picturesque village of Burnsall we’ll make our way along the River Wharfe to Grassington, hoping to see along the way some of the special birds which find a home here at this time of year. Mandarin Duck and Goosander are a possibility on the river, and in the surrounding trees we could find Green and Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper and summer migrants, including the elusive Garden Warbler.
