Monthly talk Thursday 9th May Elizabeth Smith on the history and work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission

Join up at St John’s Church hall to learn more about the history and work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission set up in the Frist World War and currently responsible for commemorating 1.7 million deceased servicemen from around the world.  The talk starts at 10.30am with tea and coffee from 10am.

Monthly talk – Thursday 14th March at 10.30am in St John’s Church Hall – a ramble through the solar system with Martin Lunn

This month’s talk replaces that originally advertised owing to the indisposition of Horace the hearing assistance dog.  Join us for an introduction to the sun and the planets, including Earth, that orbit it.  We hope you will be able to join us and to bring a friend along.  Teas and coffees will be available from 10am.
